Forget LegoLand...Bring Us Nerfopolous

Legos are fun...I totally get it.

I have been to Legoland.  There are Lego-themed rides, restaurants, and other attractions.  It's alot of fun, but really...how much can you do with Legos?

What would be better, you ask?

Nerfopolous! - A theme park dedicated solely to all things NERF.

What would you find at Nerfopolous?  Well, you are in luck, because I am about to tell you...but first, a disclaimer just so we are on the same page...

If you work for Nerf or are affiliated with the Nerf organization, by reading this article you are hereby required to give me 30% ownership in this park IF AND ONLY IF more than 50% of these attractions show up at the park.

OK...Now that we are in agreement...here we go.  I bring you the 6 Main Attractions of Legoopolous

1. NERF GUN Q BRANCH - Much like Legoland, DisneyLand and any other Land, you gotta have a store.  Q Branch is the fictional research and development division of the British Secret Service in James Bond Movies.  Imagine a large room where you could buy, sell, and trade Nerf Guns along with a Q Branch Room where you could see and sample some of the newest, upcoming Nerf Guns.

2. NERF BATTLEFIELD - It wouldn't be a Nerf Park without a full, Call of Duty style Battlefield.  Indoor AND Outdoor, where you can team up with friends and send opposing teams to Nerf Valhalla.

3. NERF TARGET PRACTIVE - Think "driving range" for Nerf guns, with prizes and accolades.  BONUS if you can get parents to run through an obstacle course in an American Gladiator style Assault/Dodgeball game.  The kids would LOVE THIS.   Parents would....like....it.

4. NERF SPORTS WORLD - Nerf is SO MUCH MORE THAN GUNS.  Think a Bass Pro Shop style sports store with all things Nerf.  Basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, and all things Nerf Sports.  Imagine Nerf Branded jerseys, swag, pads, and gear.

5.  The NERF SPORTS ARENA - Similar to the Battlefield, but for sports.  Indoor outdoor basketball court, football field, and full athletic complex with trophies, referees, etc.  Teams...rankings...maybe even a Nerf College Scholarship.

6. Finally, the piece de resistance, NERF THROWBACK - The FIRST Nerf Ball was made in 1969.  At the time of writing this post, thats over 50 years of NERF, and I bet there are some cool things.  Maybe some big successes, and maybe a few failed items.  How cool would this be?  A collection of vintage Nerf toys throughout the years.  Have the areas themed by decade.  Let people donate to the Nerf Museum and have their name plate on the items as Nerf heros.

7.  Bonus - A coffee shop for the parents.

Just my thoughts, but I think this would be pretty cool.  What do you think?
